EASY INSTANT POT

This recipe gives you a melt-in-your-mouth, tender, savory & hearty pot roast made in half the time using an instant pot!

INGREDIENTS

- boneless beef chuck roast - diced yellow onion - beef broth, divided - worcestershire sauce - whole baby potatoes - carrots - cornstarch or tapioca starch

ADD INGREDIENTS

Add salt, garlic powder & black pepper to a bowl & mix. Use this to season the beef pieces.

SEAR BEEF

Sear the beef pieces in the instant pot on each side. Once seared, transfer the meat to a clean plate.

ADD ONIONS

Saute the onions for 1-2 mins. Add beef broth to the pot and stir.

ADD BEEF 

Add beef roast pieces back into the Instant Pot.

ADD THE VEGGIES

Place the carrot chunks & baby potatoes on top of the roast.

COOK & MAKE GRAVY

Cook for 60 mins! Then remove the potatoes, carrots & beef from the pot. Make a gravy from the broth as per instructions.

SERVE

Pour the gravy over the Instant Pot pot roast and garnish with fresh parsley!
