This recipe for Honey Garlic Salmon Bites is truly the easiest weeknight meal you can make for your family. All you need is a few simple ingredients and a couple of minutes under the broiler and you are all set!
1poundsalmon filletskinned and cut into 1-inch pieces
Instructions
Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; set aside.
Combine soy sauce (or tamari sauce), honey, garlic, ginger, and cracked pepper in a medium mixing bowl.
Add the salmon pieces to the marinade and toss/stir until the salmon is evenly coated. Let the salmon marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, tossing/stirring half way through.
After the salmon has marinated, move the oven baking rack so it's about 4 inches from the heating element inside your oven, and preheat your oven broiler.
Place the salmon pieces onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle any remaining marinade from the bowl over the salmon.
Broil in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes, and then turn each piece over and broil for another 2-3 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Exact broil time will depend on how thick your salmon is.
Remove from the oven and allow them to sit for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes
Leave the skin on. It gets deliciously crispy, plus preparing the salmon is so much easier.
Try your best to cut the salmon in similar size pieces. This ensures it will cook evenly.
Set a timer. Salmon cooks quickly and will dry out, you don't want to walk away and forget.
Serve over rice or cauliflower rice, on a salad or pair with fresh veggies for a healthy dinner.
