avocado

unsweetened almond milk
or milk of choice

scoop keto friendly vanilla flavored protein powder
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse for 10-20 seconds.
If desired, top with additional sliced avocado and
keto whipped cream.
Serve cold.

Notes
If you don't want to use protein powder, add in 1.5 teaspoons of your favorite sugar free sweetener and ½ teaspoon vanilla.
Add more or less ice to preference.
You can use frozen or fresh avocado in this avocado smoothie recipe.
Store in a mason jar or airtight container for 1 day. Shake or blend before drinking.
Flavors to try:
Matcha powder (1 teaspoon) - gives you a boost from the caffeine and contains a high amount of amino acids.
Berries (½ cup) - Frozen strawberries, blueberries or raspberries work well in this smoothie.
Unsweetened cocoa powder ( 1 tablespoon) - turns this into a great keto chocolate avocado smoothie.
Ground hemp hearts or flax seed (1 tablespoon) - easy way to up the nutritional profile.
Frozen spinach (1 cup) - a simple way to get more veggies in your diet.
Nut butters (1 tablespoon) - peanut butter or almond butter work beautifully in this simple avocado smoothie.
